Founded in 2024, Pouring Perspectives emerged from a simple belief: learning shouldn't stop at graduation, and it certainly shouldn't be confined to classrooms. We're reimagining adult education by creating spaces where knowledge flows as freely as conversations.

My name is Ayon, I am the founder of Pouring Perspectives. I moved from Oakland,Ca to Chicago,IL alone at 22-years old. I found few spaces to connect with like-minded individuals who shared a passion for exploring the fascinating and often quirky topics that make life interesting. Whether it was the latest scientific breakthroughs, philosophical inquiries, or pop culture phenomena, I craved a space where these discussions could come to life.

Recognizing that many people feel the same way—seeking connection and conversation in a bustling city—I envisioned Pouring Perspectives as a solution. Inspired by the concept of "Lectures on Tap" in NYC, I decided to bring this innovative idea to the heart of Chicago. By hosting lectures in local bars, Pouring Perspectives creates an inviting atmosphere where everyone can gather, sip their favorite drinks, and delve into stimulating topics.
